Instructors

Dawn Varney

Heritage Harvest Farm welcomes Dawn Varney as our riding instructor.  Dawn has over 20 years experience working with horses across several disciplines.  She graduated from Cazenovia College with a degree in Equine Studies and competed on the Varisity Hunt Seat team earning several Regional Team Championships.  She served as an Adjunct Hunt Seat Instructor at the college.  She taught at Zephyr Farm in Mahopac, NY teaching lessons, pony camp and Girl and Boy Scout merit badge classes.  She spend two years as instructor and  pony camp director at Sleepy Hollow Country Club in Briarcliff  Manor, New York.  She has also worked as a Trail Ride guide, and as a demonstration rider for horse sales.  Dawn is currently offering lessons in both Western and English style riding to students age 4 to Adult.  She is excellent with both beginning and more advanced riders.

Stephanie Little

Steph and KneeHiStephanie joins us with a background in management and an interest in horses. She has been running camp for 2 years now. She has been a wonder in getting things organized around the farm and everything thing has been runing like a well oiled machine. She brings with her her dog Edward and her miniature horses KneeHi and Toast. KneeHi is planning a career as a camp instructor and greeter.
